About Me
I moved to Austin from the San Diego, California in March of 2018. I started working at Valley View in April, shortly after my move. My background includes working with students from kindergarten through 6th grade. I have prior experience working in public schools as well as private schools. I feel so fortunate to now be a part of the Valley View family!
I am also a Wildcat! I graduated from The University of Arizona in 2013 with a bachelor’s degree in Family Studies and Human Development and a minor in
Special Education. After graduating from University of Arizona, I went back to school to earn my California teaching credential as well as my Master’s in Special Education.
When I am not teaching, I enjoy exercising, reading, trying new restaurants, spending time with family and friends, hanging on the lake and watching sports. My boyfriend’s name is Bryce and he works for a commercial and residential development company. We enjoy watching sports and movies. We have been together since high school and feel very fortunate to have settled in such a beautiful and welcoming city!
I have a passion for teaching and am dedicated to your child’s growth: academically and emotionally. I appreciate open lines of communication so that we are all working as a team and focusing on what is best for your child. I am so excited to spend the year with your child and get to know your family!
